Dear families,
In our continued effort to protect our lovely elderly clients from COVID-19, we are following a directive issued by the Ohio department of health. The directive restricts access only to those personnel who are absolutely necessary for the operation of the Lantern community. The directive also limits no more than one (1) visitor per resident per day, except for end of life situations. We are required to screen every visitor each time they enter the Lantern community for COVID-19. Screening will include questions about exposure to COVID-19 and assessing visitors and personnel’s for cough, shortness of breath, and body temperatures of 100.4 degrees and higher. The directive also recommends access to few points of entry. Screening of visitors and personnel will take time. I ask and plead that you be patient with us. There may be times you may have to wait for few long minutes. Your patience, understanding and support will immensely help us to be efficient and continue to provide a very safe and healthy environment to our elderly that we love, admire and adore.<br>The Lantern staff are prepared and ready to address the challenge and the need as they arise. We will continue to update information on social media as we carefully and thoughtfully navigate through this difficult time. For more information, please call your respective communities.
